Ain't It Cool News has posted a new photo of Arnold Schwarzenegger as Emil Rottmayer in The Tomb. You can check it out to your left!!

Figures, nothing to report for days and then boom a bunch in one day!! The first Expendables 2 TV Spot has arrived and it is AWESOME!! It features a bunch of new footage and is a full minute in length!! You can check it out below!!

Deadline is reporting that The Expendables could become a television franchise!! Beyond that announcement nothing further information wise was given. It's pretty much a given I say that we'd be looking at an all new cast for the proposed show. Stay tuned for more info as it arrives!!

Three new behind the scenes photos have arrived online featuring Sly, Jason Statham, composer Brian Tyler and Barney's new truck for Expendables 2. All the photos can be viewed below!!

Lastly, Variety is reporting that Anne Vyalitsyna, a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model, has joined the cast of A Good Day To Die Hard in an unspecified role. She is pictured to your left!!

Hey guys sorry for taking so long to get this video up, between work, family birthdays today, just a crazy day but at last I've got a few free minutes. If any of you haven't seen it yet, the video is of a visit to the set of The Tomb done by Entertainment Tonight and it features interviews with Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. They talk about The Tomb, Expendables, their careers and the state of the action genre today, definitely worth checking out!! Collider has provided the poster for the upcoming Sylvester Stallone written and produced and Jason Statham starring action thriller HOMEFRONT. The poster was one of many showcased at the Cannes Film Festival in France. You can check out the poster to your left and click it for a larger view.

For those who need a little refresher, HOMEFRONT centres on a DEA agent (Statham) who moves his family to a small town and comes out of retirement when his family and the local community are threatened by drug traffickers. Sly wrote the film and will produce with Gary Fleder directing.

On a personal note, I've taken an interest in the two White House hostage thrillers currently in development. WHITE HOUSE DOWN has Channing Tatum attached to star with Roland Emmerich directing and the other project now titled WHITE HOUSE TAKEN formerly OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN has Gerard Butler attached to star and Antoine Fuqua directing. Which one do you guys think will be better? Or will they both suck? I'm just a sucker for the 'Die Hard in a (fill in the blank) type movies".

MTV recently interviewed Sylvester Stallone regarding Expendables 2 & 3 as well as a new Rambo film. Here's some of the highlights from the interview:

ON EXPENDABLES 2
"We do up the ante. We have a bit more money," he said. "When people go in there, at first they say, 'Well, it's not [Robert De Niro's] "Deer Hunter." ' And I say, 'Of course, it's not "Deer Hunter." It's a bunch of mugs having a good time and just kicking each other around.' It's male pattern badness.

And this one here, because of Arnold, Bruce, [Jean-Claude] Van Damme and the addition of Liam Hemsworth, we all try to capitalize on sort of the baggage we bring. You know, we have certain catchphrases and certain looks and certain things that we've been known for, [especially] Chuck Norris, so we throw it in there and have fun with it. I think this one here is gonna be a bit more enjoyable. The scope is quite a bit larger."

ON EXPENDABLES 3
Where would a third movie go from there? Stallone told us he doesn't yet have another team of thespians in mind for a threequel."There's one or two, but there's not enough to do a whole [movie]," he said. "There are guys who are good, but they're not of that ilk. It's very odd that becoming an action guy is kind of like the ugly stepchild, like, 'Oh, you didn't make it.' It's very hard, because if you notice, there's only been about six action guys in my lifetime that have somewhat made it, because it's a very odd, odd combination. Guys have to be somewhat entertaining. It's not about muscles, per se."

ON RAMBO 5
"There's a volcanic eruption for Rambo. The magma of Rambo is coming to the surface," he said. "I know there is [another story]. You know when you lay down the final culmination of your life and you can articulate it, but also act on it, and he realizes what his destiny really is. And it's not to be a farmer, it's not to be obscure, it's really to go out in a blaze of glory — in a heroic fashion. But is he really doing it for himself or is he doing it because that's just his id? That's just who he is?"

So sounds to me like Expendables 3 is not something that's going to happen as quickly as this Fall. At this point I think its more likely we see the same two year gap we saw between the first two films. It could happen quicker of course but we know Sly and Arnold are working on The Tomb right now and Sly most likely wants to crank out the next Rambo before he concerns himself with another Expendables installment. What do you guys think?

The good folks over at The Arnold Fans have provided us with a first look at Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger as they appear in their upcoming prison action thriller The Tomb. I guess they needed to look even older!! Not that I don't like it, its nice to see a little change. Often actors appearances don't differ much from movie to movie so its nice to see a little bit more character going into their roles. What do you guys think?
