New Photos Of Arnold Schwarzenegger    JCVD and Tony Jaa      Thank You To: Dean, Degen, Max (Iron Arnold), MasterNorris.com, Kallum & Tomasz  So I spent most of last night checking out The Expendables 2 Blu-Ray. I have to say overall I was fairly impressed. Now don't get me wrong, its not mind blowing or anything but its fairly solid value wise. You get some strong documentaries on the making of the film (although parts of the them we have already seen posted online) as well as a gag reel, deleted scenes and a very interesting documentary on 'real life expendables', people who do this sort of thing for a living. Director Simon West provides our only feature length commentary and it was alright I suppose. You learn a few interesting things but I would have loved to hear from Sly, Arnie, Bruce or other members of the cast on the commentary. Basically, this is a blu-ray worth picking up in my opinion but its not made for the ultimate fan and this film HAS NOT been treated as an EVENT film with this blu-ray. Sly does discuss Expendables 3 briefly, basically saying that new 'younger' blood needs to be introduced. And I agree to a certain extent. By saying 'younger' I don't think Sly means these guys all need to be in their 20's. You have to remember these guys are 'pretty old', a lot of people in Hollywood are considered younger then them. Sly also mentions a 'transition' to the younger guys with the older guys still around. So its not like Sly and the guys would just be gone. I guess at the end of the day they have to decide what they want to do with this franchise. If its going to have longevity and continue then younger blood has to be introduced and at the same time you need some vets leading them that give the films credibility. If Expendables 3 is going to end it all, then bring in as many big names as you can and make it a true big event. What do you guys think?

Well more sources are confirming that Sylvester Stallone did in fact SAY THOSE COMMENTS about EX3. Hit the link to read them over again if you've forgotten or didn't see them the first time around. How do we take this? I think we don't quite yet, its way too early in the game. If you remember when talk first started on Expendables 2, Sly was talking about Ryan Seacrest being involved, Bruce Willis as a super villain etc etc. I think this is the same case here. Sly is floating a POTENTIAL idea but don't put any stock in it just yet. He appears WAY too undecided at this point. But I do think Expendables 3 does need to make some changes. It can't be the same old thing all over again. Bring in new blood and take a crack at a more creative plot. Here was my idea again for Expendables 3. I think something along these lines would be a nice refresher. One Million U.S. Dollars. That was the price put on the head of each of The Expendables. Hired and sent into Colombia on a bogus mission to locate and retrieve a major drug lord who recently escaped from prison, Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone), Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Gunnar Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), Toll Road (Randy Couture) and Hale Caesar (Terry Crews) find a trap set and waiting for them. Marcus Roman (Steven Seagal) and his army of ruthless assassins attack with brutal efficiency and without mercy. Toll Road and Hale Caesar go out in a blaze of glory while a hopelessly surrounded Gunnar Jensen draws a crowd and ignites an explosion that kills him and a dozen assassins around him. Barney Ross is chased to the edge of a cliff and dives off into a river below as gunfire rips into the water all around him. The only member to escape, Lee Christmas watches on as no body rises up from beneath the water of the river. Six Months Later........ Lee Christmas waits in a bar in Mexico City as his contact Miguel Fuentes (Antonio Banderas) arrives with a package containing the names and locations of all the men who ruthlessly murdered his team. Christmas desperately wants to exact revenge but he knows he can't do it alone. He tells Miguel to spread the word of a meeting to take place in 48 hours. The purpose of the meeting? The Expendables are being reinstated with new recruits. Carter "The Bull" Burdett (Dwayne Johnson), Jack Thorne (Kiefer Sutherland), Chen Wu (Jackie Chan) and Eve Carver (Gina Carano) are recruited and together with Christmas and Fuentes they begin their search to track down and kill Marcus Roman and his team. But they soon learn there is far more going on then they realize and the true motives of the man who originally placed the price on the heads of The Expendables are revealed. In a race to stop an unthinkable plot, old friends and enemies will re-emerge to fight an epic battle to the death.
