no, it's too late. it was filmed as PG13 and you can't magically make it r-rated.
expendables 1 was filmed to be both and it suffered from that. I would rather hear the promise to make expendables 3 r-rated again(from the beginning), than to see bad CGI and cheap blood put into the movie as an afterthought.

Yeah, well... a man can still hope they have a solution, right? I have decided I will not see a PG-13 Expendables in movie because that's not what I want to see. They won't care if I spend my money on it or not, but still... well, the many reasons have been written down here enough times.

What makes you think the producers even check sites like these or youtube? or even CARE what the "core" demographic wants? They've made this decision to appeal to people OUTSIDE of the core demographic, so they will only change their decision if those people demand it - and they won't, because the people it is being aimed at now are the same people that love superhero movies.

I would rather see an EX2 with CG blood and violence added back in like in EX1 rather than a PG-13 where they cut away to hide the action and blood. Bring on thea CG effects!!!

Weird, that I posted twice in a row (impersonator alert). What I said the second time defintiely would not be allowed as dialogue in a PG-13 EX2.

Why do people talk like changing the rating of the movie somehow changes the content of it? If the movie is already mostly made, and they made it so fucking kids will see it and it's RATED (doesn't that mean that some entity saw the movie's content and rated it PG-13? last I heard, it worked like that) as such, then changing it to an R rating would mean to change the movie, which means the use of CGI in terms of blood and the such.

Either way, this movie is fucked up fro the get-go.
