Another great, underrated Banderas movie is The 13th Warrior. I love that movie! Along with Desperado, Mask of Zorro, and Once Upon A Time In Mexico, I'd say Antonio's resume would make him a worthy and welcomed addition to EX3. Let's not forget Puss In Boots, too! Just kidding.

Whether he's in shape or not he belongs into this series more than many other B-listers we've seen in either TE1 will see in TE2. Sure, he's an arrogant shit but that would make him an ideal bad guy.

I think LIONSGATE is waiting until the whole superhero event of THE AVENGERS wane down in a week or two until they release promos and trailers for the expendables 2, which I think is a dumb move for the studio....

What I'm trying to say dude that EXPENDABLES 2 has a lot of competition on this years summer movies like AVENGERS, GI JOE 2, DARK KNIGHT RISES and other big budgeted summer movies...

I think LIONSGATE is scared of promoting EXPENDABLES 2 early before.. and their waiting until the last few weeks of may to release a full trailer and tv spots.. which is a bad idea... too many people are getting too annoyed that maybe most of us will be too pissed off at supporting this movie and we'll just wait until the dvd comes out and not support it at theaters

The best thing for this franchise when EXPENDABLES 2 is released after... that SLY should look for a better studio than MILLENIUM FILMS AND LIONSGATE STUDIOS when they will try to make EXPENDABLES 3.

Sly went through hell to make the first film because the studios only gave the film a 60 million budget because they thought it would not be profitable. and the first one suffered many rewrites and exclusion of original casting members... like hemsworth, trejo and many others that were supposed to be in the first one.. Yet EXPENDABLES was one of the biggest franchise LIONSGATE and MILLENIUM films aside from HUNGER GAMES this year..

The only gripe I have with EXPENDABLES 2 is the number of villains it has... I mean seriously? the first one had ERIC ROBERTS, STEVE AUSTIN and GARY DANIELS..

Now we only have ADKINS and VAN DAMME as another group of mercenaries.. how does that happen? how can one or two members of THE EXPENDABLES be killed by only two guys? even though their experienced and are capable mercenary rivals... I think there should have been at least three more members on Van Damme's team.. maybe bill goldberg, mathias hues, mark dacascos and have james woods as the guy that hired them..
