New JCVD Interview

Jean-Claude Van Damme continues to make the interview rounds, this time with MTV News and Mike was able to provide us with the video for it!! He mentions he kills one Expendable in the movie, so if two do die, it appears only one of those kills will be by his hand. Have to wait and see!! Thanks again Mike!! Thanks also to Darkman Seven 1 who also pointed us to the interview!!

Who or what started the rumour of two expendables dying anyway?
'Cause I think 2 deaths are a little too much for a movie like this. I doubt that'll happen.

I consider, that Jean Claude has properly made, that has played the negative character. Talent you will not hide anywhere! It is done also by Jean Claude! Its revival in this film. I love!

I think van damme role in this movie is perfect . I hope the rock and Michael jai white would be in the expendables 3 along side donnie yen and Scott adkins. Would to see Scott vs donnie

jean vilain KILL BILLy the kid and yin yang! i think 2 movies expendables is enough!!! they are old all of them and its a good franchise if they dont make expendables 3.
For yin yang death i hope it will be epic with the sound made by brian tyler

I've been saying Jet Li will be the Expendable who dies since the beginning, but now I'm not so sure. I'm starting to think it's Liam Hemsworth. If you watch the trailers, you see Liam with the group when they get off the plane but then he's missing when Stallone says, "Track them. Find them. Kill them." We know Liam at least gets his ass kicked by JCVD based on hs interview. Van Damme says he only kills one, but who knows? Yu Nan does seem to replace Jet Li and it would make sense that she's there to avenge his death. Maybe both of them do die? I guess we'll have to wait until August 17th to find out!

I think that :

- Yin Yang takes part in the Arnie rescue mission in the beginning but then declines to go on further adventure. He probably recommends Yu Nan instead.

- Hemsworth gets killed in the mission to retrieve I-don't-know-what in the town, when they're all dressed as civilians. He may not have been in the first film, but the fact that he's half anyone else's age in the team makes his death sufficiently poignant, storytelling-wise.

- They keep open the door for a Jet Li return in the potential third film.

I agree with that totally. Makes more sense for the third movie if he's needed to come back. Ying Yang needs more money :)

VAN DAMME FIGHTS STALLONE AT THE END OF THE TRAILER, DO ANY OF YOU KNOW IF STALLONE KILLS HIM SINCE HE IS THE GOOD GUY IN THE MOVIE??? DOES VAN DAMME DIE AT THE END OF THE MOVIE??? WHAT DO YOU THINK GUYS???

I don't think van damme die at the end bc is bad enough he has to lose to stallone and then have to die lol . I don't think Scott adkins die neither bc I believe he going to be in exendables 3 too

I'm sure Van Damme will die at the end. The entire focus of the movie is The Expendables avenging the death of one of their own (Hemsworth or Li) at the hands of JCVD so I imagine Stallone will kill him after a big showdown. Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised if Van Damme mysteriously returns at a later date. Action movie sequels are notorious for stuff like that!

Yeah I don't think kill jet li because I the first expendanble van damm wA suppose to fight li and lose to him and he didn't want to lose to li so I don't think li wants to get kill by jcvd this time sound

Here is my thoughts on how it might happen.

Billy is killed by Vilain, thats for sure.

Ying is either killed by Hector (Adkins), or he is killed by some casual soldier.
There is also the possiblility of Ying not dying at all. He might just pull out after they rescue Trent (Schwarzenegger), and recoments Maggie (Nu Yan). If Maggie is a mercenary, the only motive she needs to join Barney's gang is a steady paycheck, like any other mercenary.

Civciv, you are completely right! I checked the second tv spot and sure enough there is a quick shot of Hemsworth on his knees as Van Damme wields a knife. I am now convinced Hemsworth is the Expendable who dies and I think Irons's theory about leaving the door open for Jet Li to return for EX3 is valid. Can't wait!
