No directors cut confirmed? That sucks, unless it will be released sometime next year.

I'm pretty sure the directors cut is what we saw in the theaters. Remember, the movie was suppose to be PG-13.

The first film was closed to getting a pg 13 rating, but it got a directors cut.

I doubt Simon West will edit the film again to give us a Director's Cut like Sly did in the first one. Maybe Sly will take hold of the Deleted/alternate scenes and give us an EXTENDED cut for it. But I doubt that will happen, also, I doubt there will be much violence added.....

I like the sound of those extras, especially Simon West doing a commentary (it's a shame Sly didn't do one, his commentaries are always very informative and worth listening to). But no trailer!

Those special features sounds like some great stuff. I'm looking forward to it, especially "earth's mightiest anti-heroes", "1980's and rise of action movies" and "real life expendables".

I'm confident there will be an extended/director's cut released within the next year like the first one. From a business standpoint, it's an easy way to make more money. The director's cut from EX1 is a way better movie in my opinion than the theatrical version. When the EX2 one comes out, I imagine it'll yield the same result.

NO excuse for not having the trailer, or all 3 of them, on the Blu-Ray. Commentary should have Stallone too. I don't understand.

I think that it will be extended version of the film. There will be for example scene with Chuck Norris shooting with rest of the expendables team to JCVD. He was there on photos but was cut out in the film.

The truth is that neither Expendables movie was filmed as an R-rated movie. They ended up changing the first one to R because the PG-13 version tested poorly, and the 2nd movie was changed to R because of the negative feedback on the internet when Chuck Norris said what he did.

IF they ever do a 3rd movie, I can only hope they film that one as R from the beginning, and they actually use BLOOD SQUIBS.
