"Ambyr Childers and Thomas Jane co-star in the film from director Brian A. Miller about synthetic humans used as slaves by the rich. Berlin buyers are hot for Vice.
German/U.K. Group K5 International sold sci-fi actioner, starring Bruce Willis, to more than 37 countries after introducing it to buyers at Berlin's European Film Market. K5 closed in, among others, Russia, Scandinavia, Japan, China and Benelux for the feature directed by Brian A. Miller (The Prince) and co-starring Ambyr Childers and Thomas Jane. Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films, currently enjoying box office gold with their latest, Lone Survivor, are producing.
Vice is set in a near-future at a resort for the rich where synthetic humans are used as slaves for the wealthy guests to live out their darkest fantasies. The resort owner Julian (Willis) resets the humanoids every night, erasing their memories. But one, Kelly (Childers) malfunctions and retains every horrifying memory. She sets out to exact revenge on the tourists and the resort staff.
Vice is set to begin production in Alabama in March. K5 International is handling international sales."
Bruce Willis seems to always be at his best in science fiction films, so I am defiantly looking forward to this one!

"Certain things in life go together -- Peanut Butter and Jelly, Politics and Lies and John McTiernan and The Expendables 4!!!
Let me explain...John McTiernan is arguably one of the greatest action directors of ALL time. The man directed such action classics as DIE HARD, PREDATOR, THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER, THE THOMAS CROWN AFFAIR and DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE. Even LAST ACTION HERO is an underrated gem.
Now, the EXPENDABLES franchise is an 80's/90's throwback action extravaganza series filled with BIG stunts, BIG action, BIG guns, BIG muscles, BIG action stars and a BIG budget. The first two films have delighted action fans all over the world and EX3, which comes out this summer, looks to be the biggest one yet.
McT is coming out of Prison next month for serving a little over a year prison term from some wire-tap foolishness that he got caught up in. This is great news for action fans. His last couple of films have not lived up to the McT of the past. Basic was a pretty decent thriller, but RollerBall was a piece of crap action movie. John McTiernan deserves better. Which brings me to THE EXPENDABLES 4!
McT directed what many call the most macho-fested guys movie ever with PREDATOR. The team in Predator led by Schwarzenegger is just pure bad ass. So just imagine what a director like John would do directing an Expendables movie. It would be pure heaven. He was born to directed one of these action movies. He knows how to handle a bad ass team of guys and with the biggest action stars at his disposable the sky is the limit. It would be pure magic!
Arnold and John have a working relationship having worked on both LAST ACTION HERO and PREDATOR so the way I see it Arnold can pull some strings and get his buddy to have a meeting with both Sly and Avi Lerner. I am sure Sly and Avi would be game to get a pro like McT to direct the next EX adventure!
Each EXPENDABLES movie has been directed by different directors and the 4th film should be no different.
McT is not in much demand now, but directing a BIG BUDGET BLOCKBUSTER movie like EX4 would bring him back BIG TIME!!! Let us make this happen action movie fans...make your voices heard and lets bring this to the attention of Lionsgate, Sly, Avi, Arnold and Nu Image. McT deserves to be treated like action royalty and an EXPENDABLES movie deserves John McTiernan!!!
We have to agree with him, there really is no better choice than McTiernan. I know there is at least one or two people from Lionsgate reading this right now, so spread the word around the office that the fans want McTiernan to direct the next installment in the Expendables franchise!

"Summit Entertainment’s Escape Plan, with aging action stars Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger, was the top home video seller and rental in the week ending Feb. 9.
The Lionsgate-distributed film -- a box office underachiever that grossed slightly more than half its $50 million estimated budget -- debuted at No. 1 on Nielsen VideoScan’s First Alert sales chart, which tracks overall disc sales, DVD and Blu-ray Disc combined, and Home Media Magazine’s weekly rental chart.
On Nielsen’s dedicated Blu-ray Disc sales chart, Escape Plan couldn’t overtake Paramount’s Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa for the No. 1 spot. Bad Grandpa debuted a week earlier at No. 2 after earning $102 million in U.S. theaters. This week, Escape Plan instead bowed at No. 2, selling 93 percent as many Blu-ray units as Bad Grandpa.
That’s not surprising, given that Bad Grandpa in its second week of availability generated 51 percent of its total unit sales from Blu-ray, as opposed to just 36 percent for Escape Plan. The action title also got a boost in terms of overall disc sales by the fact that Target was selling the DVD for $10, which also accounts for the low Blu-ray number for a new action film."
