The character of Komorov COULD be the Russian General that the villains are trying to spring from prison in an attempt to take control of the Kremlin. I believe that's the plot in a nutshell anyway. For the longest time on IMDB they have listed Patrick Stewart (Star Trek) as playing the Russian General in the film which would be a great choice in my opinion but there is no fact behind it as I haven't heard him mentioned from a single credible source. Just wishful thinking by an IMDB poster at this point.
