In this first one he also talks about returning to the roles of Terminator and Conan:
Smith will play a new character with a strong connection to John Connor, alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke, Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, J.K. Simmons, Dayo Okeniyi and Byung Hun Lee."
Here's the plot description from Archstone Distribution: "A professional poker player, Jack Daniel, gets in with the underworld when takes a wager proposed by Duffy, a mysterious gambler. In order to protect his family and himself, Jack must outwit Duffy’s cunning brother Lewis and scheming wife May as each attempts to force him into murdering the other. Jack seeks the help of Paulie Trunks (great name for Seagal's character), a loan shark looking to collect on Jack’s poker debts, who might want to protect his investment."
"...This movie feels like thirty years of Miller holding in passion for a world that he built so long ago, exploding on the screen. You, remember the third act of The Road Warrior, the bad-ass truck chase that is still hailed as a masterpiece of filmmaking? You do? Good.
Because that’s what this whole movie pretty much is-and it works! A chase that goes long and deep into the heart of Miller’s post-apocalyptic world, trying to get out of the Wasteland. It opens up and hardly slows down."
To this: "Just saw a Mad Max advance screening. I can’t say much about it but let’s just hope they do tons of re-shoots before it’s released next year, or start again from scratch. Also Tom Hardy can’t stop doing the Bane voice. So annoying.”
I'm sure that many of you feel that this movie shouldn't even be made without Mel Gibson in the drivers seat but with George Miller as the director I'm willing to hold out hope for Fury Road.
