"With "Rambo V" Sylvester Stallone returns to his signature role. This time he messes with the Mexican cartel. Stallone, who is also responsible for the screenplay, describes the new Rambo as his version of "No Country for Old Men." Producer is like the last "Rambo", Avi Lerner ("The Expendables 1-3")."
What do you think about a 5th Rambo and the Mexican cartel theme? Does the series need another chapter? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
Film Divider also reported that Stallone will have a cameo appearance not only in The Expendabelles but also another "young expendables" spin off:
"...I can tell you that the two new films being developed for that series – both The Expendabelles, which needs a title change, and another “next generation” concept, which needs a title to start with – are intended to feature Stallone’s character Barney Ross but only in a smaller, supporting roles."
Well I can't say I'm too excited about that premise but there you have it. Can we get a Gunnar Jensen spinoff instead?
And lastly today we have a rumour that John Travolta is being considered to play the villain in Expendables 4. It's pure speculation at this point but you can read Movie Cricket's take on it here.
