Well I guess that still left a 1% possibility. Sean Hood, the writer behind Conan The Barbarian, has just turned in a script for a potential new Rambo installment presently going by the name Rambo: Last Stand. Sean has this to say to Empire Online about the script:
"I met with Mr Stallone twice last year, He gave me a book, an older screenplay, and about twenty pages he'd written himself to use as inspiration for the last chapter of the Rambo saga."
Sean Hood also revealed that all known possible plot's for Rambo 5 (The Mexican Storyline, Monster Storyline etc,) will not be used, this would be something else entirely, It will apparently be more closer in tone to the original Rambo film First Blood.
Sean also stressed the following:
"As of now, I don't know whether Mr Stallone will actually do it. Right now, as I understand it, he has his hands full with Bullet to the Head and Expendables 2. But Millennium films did hire me to complete the screenplay and realise his story, and my hope is that he'll eventually be inspired to do one more Rambo film, with the tone of Clint Eastwood's Unforgiven."
So what do you guys think? Up for another installment of Rambo or is it time to lay it to rest?
