But things change. In a first for this site and probably last I would like to post about non-entertainment news today.
When we think action hero, this image or something similar pops up in our head,
But in real life they come in all shapes and sizes
"Tyler Doohan, who was just 8 years old, became a real-life hero on Monday when he saved six members of his family after a fire broke out in their mobile home in upstate New York.
Doohan was having a sleepover at his grandfather's house in Penfield when a fire broke out at around 4 a.m., CNN reports.
The little boy helped to wake his other family members, six of whom made it out. But when he couldn't see his disabled grandfather, he went back in to save him.
The bodies of Doohan and his grandfather were found on the bed in the rear of the home. It appears that the boy was trying to lift his grandfather from the bed when they were overcome by smoke and heat. Another relative also perished in the fire.
"I am so grateful he went with people that he loved, that he didn't cross over alone," the little boy's mother, Crystal Vrooman, said. "I'm so glad that he was with his best friends."
"It makes me really proud, it really does," she said tearfully of her son's heroic actions. "But I just want him back."
A fund established to pay for funeral costs for Doohan and his family members has so far raised $50,000."
