"The way it reads, it has the same feel of Terminator 2. It’s big. There’s hardcore action and it has some really great visual effects in there, but not over the top. It’s not a Thor type of movie, even though it’s the same director. It has good special effects, but just enough to say, “Wow, where did that come from? How did they do that?”
He also mentioned how he feels about going back to his roles of Conan and Terminator:
"It’s great because I’ve stayed in physical shape, and they see me in different movies and on social media and with all the stuff that I do. I’m still on the cover of the muscle magazines. So, they say, “We can still have this guy fight with a sword for 10 hours a day, do horseback riding, and all of these things. We can have him star in Conan.” It’s really unusual. That’s never, ever happened, that I’m aware of, in the history of these kinds of things, where you can lead a franchise like that and be the star, at this age. That just shows you that, if you have the attitude of a young person and you work like a young person and you keep your body in shape, and if you believe that you can do it, then you can actually make other people also believe that you can do it."
"This is the best action movie I've seen in years!"
"I loved the movie! Arnold still has it! The movie kept me on the edge of my seat!"
"It wasn't bad. I liked it. But the violence was way too graphic."
For any wrestling fans out there you'll be happy to know that Arnold is hosting next weeks episode of Monday Night Raw:
"Next week's WWE RAW from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York will feature Arnold Schwarzenegger and Joe Manganiello of the movie Sabotage as guest hosts.
But that's not all..."Next week's show will also feature an appearance by Scooby-Doo and The Mystery Machine."
If you're in a hurry you can skip to about 8:30 to hear what he has to say about Expendables 3: "You thought it couldn't get bigger..."
"I’m really looking forward to the upcoming The Expendables 3. In addition to yourself, and returning cast members Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, and Arnold Schwarzenegger, you welcome on board new cast members like Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson, Antonio Banderas, Kelsey Grammer, and Wesley Snipes. Did you have a chance to work with all of them?
Crews: I don't have scenes with everyone, but the thing is that I thought the series couldn't get any bigger. The first Expendables was like the biggest action movie of all time. Then the second one I was like, oh my God, it's way bigger. Now it's stratosphere level. This is in deep space now. We're way far gone from Earth. It's the biggest movie in the universe right now. When you look at all the talent, all the great moments, and I mean, Antonio Banderas is in this thing. Come on man, this is nuts! Wesley, Harrison and Mel too, I thought it couldn't get bigger but it got a whole lot bigger.
How do you top yourselves for a fourth film? Is there anyone that you guys haven't had in the franchise yet that you would like to see join for the next installment?
Crews: Yes, this thing could keep going. Steven Seagal, Jackie Chan, even Justin Bieber! I want to see Justin play my son. I'm telling you by Expendables 6 he's going to be my kid and I'm going to help him get his life together. Justin Bieber will be my son! I'm kidding of course. I said that one time and someone printed it. I'm just kidding guys."
And here we have some Steven Seagal photos showing what he could look like in EX4. Thanks to Steven Seagal Italia:
