They also claim that "Expendables 3 will introduce a younger group of tech-savvy action heroes who initially clash with the older crew, though they eventually team up to save the day."
I have a bad feeling about that but Stallone did say in the past that he was looking for "young tech wizards." Personally the only way I'd like to see a young team of tech savvy action heroes portrayed in EX3 is if they were annihilated by the real action heroes that we all came to see. But until we know if this is even true or who would be on this younger team then I guess there's no need to panic.
"Readers, we must tell you that the movie is glorious—a funny homage to 80s and 90s action films—exactly what fans want to see from the powerful duo. (Helicopter rescues, machine guns, explosions, buddy banter, slow-mo hero shots . . . and, thankfully, not too much technology or special effects, at least per today’s movie standards.) In fact, the movie was so much fun that about 20 minutes in, the security personnel hired to make sure audience members were not pirating the film stopped combing the theater for covert video cameras and stood back to enjoy the picture."
I'm really looking forward to The Escape Plan, everything we learn about it seems to be good news. I'm glad to hear that it doesn't rely so much on technology and special effects to wow the audience. The article goes on to describe the onstage comedy between Stallone and Schwarenegger who were in attendance to present the movie. It sounds like a good time for everyone who was lucky enough to be there.
“Arnold Schwarzenegger,” Stallone said, identifying himself.
“And I’m Rocky,” Schwarzenegger replied. “Only our mother can tell us apart.”
“Why are you dressed like this, though?” Stallone asked, referring to Schwarzenegger’s cream-colored suit, which showed up Stallone's own black shirt and jeans. “You’re looking so dapper and intellectual. You look like Mark Twain. I thought we’d come up here looking like someone who, I don’t know, should be shoeing a horse. And he—he looks like he owns the horse!”
Terry Crews was also at Comic-con and shared his thoughts on Expendables 3 and the roles he and Mila Jovovich might play although he pointed out that he still hasn't read any script.
I'm sure many of you will be interested to see the new trailer for Donnie Yen's Special Identity. I wasn't following this movie before but I will be now, I was really impressed by this trailer!
Joe Manganiello was a guest on The Nerdist Podcast and talks about working with Arnold on Sabotage around 43 minutes into it. Here are a few quotes: "It's totally fucking off the wall crazy.. It's nuts, It's awesome"
"It looks like Chopper, like Romper Stomper. It's looks like some kind of gritty Australian fucked up movie about this gang that works for the government"
"We're all undercover so we look like psycho criminals."
IMDB lists Sylvester Stallone as starring in an upcoming film called Reach Me, alongside Terry Crews, Thomas Jane, Tom Sizemore and Frank Stallone.
A drama centered on a group of people who all have a connection to a self-help book authored by a reclusive former football coach."
The release date is show as August 2013 for the US, but it could be an error as it also says April 2014 for The Netherlands...
"The documentary looking at climate change and how it impacts fire season, is to be aired on Showtime. Schwarzenegger, the former governor of California and actor, is working as the executive producer for the film."
He also posted on twitter that "It was an honor to spend time with the Snake River Hotshots for Years of Living Dangerously. I play an action hero in movies; these are true action heroes. Thanks guys."

Speaking of Seagal we also have this fan poster submitted by Daniel. I think it looks great, that would be a good costume for him to have in EX3 if not his usual leather trenchcoat.
